Residences: He removed from Wayne County, North Carolina to Coles County, Illinois. He also lived in Morgan County, Illinois.

Service: Private, North Carolina. In April, 1777 he was in a Company commanded by Capt. John Farrer, rendezvoused at Patenburg, Halifax County, North Carolina in Major Dixon's Regiment, three months service.

Pension: R6149(NC); Resident of Morgan County, Illinois when pension claim rejected (Act June 7, 1832) "only three months service."

Marker: The grave was marked by Peoria Chapter D.A.R. in June, 1938.
